North Carolina has a long history of rich traditions in arts, literature and music. Through the N.C. Arts Council, the N.C. Symphony, the North Carolina Museum of Art and Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA), we grow the economy through arts-driven economic development and cultural tourism and give all North Carolinians access to life-changing arts experiences. Furthermore, our Historic Sites and Historic Resources increase our understanding and appreciation for North Carolina.
