Hello NC

Hello NC showcases the rich heritage, traditions, and natural beauty of North Carolina’s rural communities through storytelling, photography, and video. This initiative highlights hometown heroes, local histories, and cultural traditions, offering rural counties a platform to share their stories in their own voice.

NC Green Book Project

The Green Book became "the bible of black travel during Jim Crow," enabling black travelers to find lodgings, businesses, and gas stations that would serve them along the road.
