Hello NC

Hello NC showcases the rich heritage, traditions, and natural beauty of North Carolina’s rural communities through storytelling, photography, and video. NC Green Book Project

The Green Book became "the bible of black travel during Jim Crow," enabling black travelers to find lodgings, businesses, and gas stations that would serve them along the road.

NC Music

The roots of American music run deep in North Carolina. North Carolinians have made brilliant, groundbreaking contributions to many of America's most important music genres. 2019 was designated 'The Year of Music' to tell the authentic and compelling stories around our states music heritage and make these stories come to life.
