Library of N.C. Announces Federal Grants to Local Libraries

The Library of North Carolina, a division of the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, is proud to announce awards to local libraries. Across the state, 46 awards have been issued for a total of $2,785,339 in grant funds from the Library of North Carolina with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) to support new or expanded library programs and services, as well as limited ongoing projects.

Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) is pleased to announce it has received a $2.5 million grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to support shoreline restoration and coastal resiliency at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson (BTFA) State Historic Site in Winnabow, N.C.
