This summer youth ages 10-17 can learn to march and perform with the Tryon Palace Fife and Drum Corps through a five-day camp held June 20-24 on the Tryon Palace grounds.
Hanging Rock State Park has opened a new 1,440-square-foot picnic shelter near its swimming lake and bathhouse that's accessible to visitors with disabilities, according to the N.C. Division of Parks and Recreation.
