This year's ceremony, in America’s 250th year, is all about honoring North Carolina’s military and veteran families, with proceeds from the event going to two non-profits, Blue Star Families and Camp Corral.
Blue Star Families is a nonprofit organization that supports military members, veterans, and their families. They offer programs focused on community connections, career development, and mental health and well-being.
Camp Corral is a non-profit organization serving veterans, providing free summer camp for children of wounded, ill, and fallen military heroes, helping them build resilience, community, providing resources, and addressing mental health.
