Grants

Every year, DNCR awards both competitive and formula grants to communities in all 100 counties. In 2025, millions of dollars in grants were awarded to communities to support the arts, science, libraries, outdoor recreation, preservation and restoration of historic buildings and natural landscapes, recovery from Hurricane Helene, projects to commemorate America's 250th anniversary, and funding to support student field trips to DNCR's sites.
