Since 1956, the North Carolina Museum of Art, Winston-Salem (formerly SECCA) has offered a front row seat to the art of our time through exhibitions, experiences, and education programs exploring the interplay of contemporary art and culture.
As construction moves forward at the museum campus on Marguerite Drive, NCMA Winston-Salem is proud to return to its downtown roots, just blocks away from where it all began seven decades ago.
Now open on Fourth Street, NCMA Winston-Salem Downtown offers an exhibition and program space committed to fostering creativity and collaboration among visitors, artists, and community groups. The space is open Wednesday through Sunday, and admission is free.
