Join us and create a puppet version of everyone’s favorite carnivorous plant (and southeastern North Carolina native): the venus fly trap! This program is part of the North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport's Skipper’s Crew series. Designed for all ages, but specifically geared toward younger patrons, Skipper’s Crew features hands-on activities and take-home crafts focused on combining arts, history, and science. Lights will be dimmed and interactives muted during the first two hours to provide a calmer environment for those with sensory sensitivities. Programs run from 10 a.m.
