July Lunch and Learn to be held July 17 at N.C. History Center
Francisco de Miranda, the Spanish explorer and father of Venezuelan independence, will be the subject of Tryon Palace’s July Lunch and Learn lecture held at noon Friday, July 17, at the North Carolina History Center.
Miranda developed his love of liberty during a visit in exile to the newly established United States of America. Those attending the program will learn about this life-changing visit, focusing on his time in North Carolina, and get to know the passion and personality of this intriguing man.
This monthly brownbag lunch series is held in the Debnam-Hunt Board Room on the second-floor of the North Carolina History Center, which overlooks the Trent River in downtown New Bern. Guests will meet in Mattocks Hall inside the North Carolina History Center.
